Flooding at National Airport

RAW VIDEO: A broken pipe sent water gushing into part of the terminal at Reagan National Airport late Saturday afternoon, creating a major disruption, authorities said. The break flooded the lower level of Terminal C, which is primarily used by US Airways, said airport spokeswoman Tara Hamilton. The baggage claim area in Terminal C was in the flooded area, she said.

Reid stumbles over his vote at the last minute

Senate Majority leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), who has worked relentlessly to pass landmark health-care reform legislation, drew laughter during the final vote on the bill in the Senate Thursday morning when he started to vote against the bill instead of for it. When his name was called, Reid said "No. I mean, aye. Yes!" Then he shook his head sheepishly and did his trademark palms-up shrug as the chamber erupted in laughter. The bill was approved 60-39 in a party-line vote.
